SKUTR: The Tempest

SKUTR

Theatre

New Scene

International project based on The Tempest by W. Shakespeare.
Everyone has a moment in their life where they can’t continue. They have to stop and sort out their life. It’s the moment, when the storm comes. They can’t do anything besides sailing the sea until they get to the island of their inner world and then they must hope the storm will be purifying.
We all have a moment in our lives when in or around us the storm erupted. A breakup, a death of a sibling, a fear of the nature. To calm down the storm we must sail the sea far away to the island. Our memories are its soil from which the worries grow and through which our time flows away. And we are, for the time being, Prospero – the magical ruler of the nature, Ariel – the angel of redemption, or Miranda – waiting for love. Are we getting back from the island?
